Once a fallen-away Catholic, Fr. Patrick Gonyeau experienced a great period of conversion that not only led him back to the Catholic faith, but into the priesthood. Ordained in 2013, his first assignment was to serve as Associate Pastor at the National Shrine of the Little Flower in Royal Oak. Father Gonyeau has also served as the Parochial Vicar of the Cathedral of the Most Blessed Sacrament Parish and St. Moses the Black Parish in Detroit as well as the Evangelization Coordinator for the Central Region in the office of Evangelization, Catechesis and Schools for the AOD. Currently, he is the Parochial Vicar of Corpus Christi Parish, Detroit and will become Administrator, effective July 1, 2019.
